Nicholas's career began in Switzerland during his studies at Hochschule der Künste Bern (CH) as a jazz pianist. While studying, he founded his first electro-pop band under the name Bambeat. His first single "Not like You" was immediately broadcasted on several Swiss radios and the band was selected to perform at the M4Music Festival in Zürich.
In 2011 Nicholas Bamberger won a first artist residency in Brussels where he composed the EP "Hide and Seek", presented on numerous stages with his band Garden Portal, also broadcasted on Swiss radios. His piano and singing skills then led him to work with internationally renowned musicians such as Olivia Pedroli and Gustav. Together, they toured in Switzerland, Germany, France and East Asia.
In 2017, a second artist residency brought him to Berlin, where he has been developing "The Piano Solo Street Sessions". This project helped him to be spotted quickly. In 2018 he composed and performed the music for one of Heimathafen Neukölln's latest theatre productions "Peter Pan, oder von einem, der auszog, das Sterben zu lernen".
At the same time, Nicholas Bamberger has been working on soundtrack productions and has composed advertisement music for the watch brand Omega. Besides giving piano lessons, he wrote his latest album "Inner Voyage" which will be released in fall/winter 2023. Nicholas has a management since March 2023 and is continuously working on new music. Apart from his longer compositions there is also a focus on piano pieces that are tailored to music streaming. Nicholas currently works with the label “Aemaralds”.
